The Li-Ning JB1 basketball shoes are the first signature shoes of NBA star Jimmy Butler.

This technology powerhouse offers an eye-catching design with details inspired by the physiognomy of the alligator.
In fact, the sole pattern is inspired by the dorsal scales of the dreaded amphibious reptile and ends at the forefoot, wrapping around the upper, replicating its sharp teeth.

The Miami Heat champion's first signature shoe encapsulates cutting-edge technologies that revolutionize performance on the court.

The three-layer upper is made with Li Ning's exclusive patented BOOM Fiber yarn. These fibers are more flexible and durable, providing greater durability and less upper deformation. BOOM Fiber technology also makes the product super lightweight without sacrificing foot containment.
The upper is supported by thermoplastic inserts that provide more containment during sharp lateral movements. In addition, the lacing can rely on dynamic loops at critical points that make the fit customizable.
The tongue on the back of the foot is connected to the rest of the upper to wrap around the foot like a sock and is equipped with gel inserts to relieve pressure from the laces.
The collar has gel padding for added comfort and support.
The removable midsole, the undisputed star of the new JB1, is made with Li Ning's innovative 360-degree BOOM foam , which can reduce the weight of the shoe and give greater cushioning, rebound and resilience.
Another highlight of Jimmy Butler's first signature is the outsole made with HC LOC (Honeycomb Cellular Loc) technology, a foam with honeycomb structure that provides excellent grip (13% more grip than conventional materials) and reduces the weight by 55%. As a result, the suol feels softer than conventional rubbers-ideal for sticking to hardwood floors!
The medial support is made of lightweight and flexible carbon fiber that provides more response and support than TPU inserts. The carbon fiber also helps reduce energy loss during movement, restoring momentum on restarts.
